[. . . ] Channel is on if CC-XPS External Frequency Scan Sensor detects horizontal scan frequency. Activating a channel (IR/Serial function) will deactivate the channel that is on. Contact closure inputs on I/O 1 through I/O 4 will also generate PUSHes and RELEASEs on channels 251 through 254, respectively. AXB-TMC/TMX+ Television Managers 19 Programming IR Functions (Synergy System Standard Order) The following table shows the standard IR function list. In Synergy systems, specific Axcess program changes may be required to implement specific use of the Input 1 through Input 5 optional codes. ! 20 AXB-TMC/TMX+ Television Managers Programming System Send_Commands In the table below, system Send_Commands are stored in the Axcess Central Controller and direct the AXB-TMC/TMX+ to perform various operations. Syntax: 'CARON' Example: SEND_COMMAND AXBTMX, 'CARON' Turns the IR carrier on (default). Syntax: 'CAROFF' Example: SEND_COMMAND AXBTMX, 'CAROFF' Turns the IR carrier off. Syntax: "'CH', <TV Channel>" Generates IR digit pulses to select a television channel number. CTON sets the pulse length for each digit and CTOF sets the time between each digit or any after-pulse. Example: SEND_COMMAND AXBTMX, "'CH', 25" Sets the television connected to channel 25 on the AXB-TMC/TMX+. Syntax: "'CTOF', <Time>" Sets the single IR pulses off time between channel digits and IR functions. This is the time between digits, or pulses, that are associated with an SP command. Example: SEND_COMMAND AXBTMX, "'CTOF', 10" Sets the off-time pulse time (delay) to 1 second for the AXB-TMX+. ?CTOF Sends the current off-time pulse string CTOF, <Time> to the Central Controller. Syntax: '?CTOF' Example: SEND_COMMAND AXBTMX, '?CTOF' Sends the current off-time pulse string from the AXB-TMC/TMX+ to the Central Controller in the CTOF <Time> format. (request) Send_ Commands respond with strings to the Central Controller. If an RS-232 device connected to the AXB-TMC/TMX+ is also sending strings to the Central Controller, the Axcess software program must be written to accommodate the mixing of data between the device and the AXB-TMC/TMX+ response strings in the buffer. AXB-TMC/TMX+ Television Managers 21 Programming System Send_Commands (Cont. ) CTON Sets the IR pulse (single) on time for each channel digit and IR functions. Syntax: "'CTON', <Time>" <Time> = 0 through 255 in tenths of a second. Example: SEND_COMMAND AXBTMX, "'CTON', 20" Sets the pulse length to 2 seconds on the AXB-TMC/TMX+. Syntax: ?CTON Sends the current on-time '?CTON' pulse string CTON, <Time> to Example: the Central Controller. SEND_COMMAND AXBTMX, '?CTON' Sends the current on-time pulse string from the AXB-TMC/TMX+ to the Central Controller in the CTON <Time> format. DC Sets a direct connection so the <IR out> (IR function) data transmits while the <IR in> code is received. Syntax: "'DC', <IR in>, <IR out>" Variables: <IR in> = custom IR functions assigned to hand-held IR transmitting device. The PUSH and RELEASE for the <IR in> code is not sent to the AXC-EM. [. . . ] You may also need to type 'MESSAGES ON' before entering the above command to get the positive response. If you enter 'MESSAGES ON', you must always enter 'MESSAGES OFF' after completing your testing, to ensure optimum performance. AXB-TMC/TMX+ receives two digits but treats each as an individual channel command. Use the following command to shorten the off time in between digits: >CHANGE CTOF 3 71 The Master Controller should respond with the following: >Change CTOF to 3, First TM=71, Last TM=71 Where 3 is the off time in tenths of seconds (0. 3 seconds) and 71 is the device number.
