Use the Close-up setting to gain sharpness and detail in pictures at close range. The camera automatically sets the focus distance depending on the zoom position: Zoom position

Landscape pictures
Use the Landscape setting to gain sharpness of far away scenes. Auto-focus framing marks are not available in Landscape.

Using burst
Option Description
Camera takes up to 3 pictures while the Shutter button is pressed. Example: A person swinging a golf club.
Last Burst
Camera takes up to 30 pictures while the Shutter Capture an event when the button is pressed. Example: A child blowing out birthday candles.
1 In most Still modes, press the Burst button repeatedly to choose an option. 3 Press the Shutter button completely down and hold it to take pictures. The camera stops taking pictures when you release the Shutter button, when the pictures are taken, or when there is no more storage space. NOTE: During Quickview, you can delete all pictures in the burst series. To delete selectively, do so in Review (see page 13).

Changing picture-taking settings
You can change settings to get the best results from your camera: 1 Press the Menu button. (Some settings are unavailable in some modes. ) 2 Press to highlight a setting, then press the OK button. NOTE: Some settings remain until you change them; others, until you turn the mode dial or turn off the camera. For recommended print sizes, visit www. kodak. com/go/printsizes Video Size Choose a video resolution. Available only in Video mode.

7. 1 MP--pictures are the highest resolution, largest file size. 640 x 480--higher resolution and file size; video plays in a 640 x 480 pixel window (VGA). 320 x 240--lower resolution and file size; video plays in a 320 x 240 pixel window (QVGA).

Options
White Balance Auto (default)--automatically corrects white balance. Ideal for indoor pictures under tungsten or halogen lighting without flash. Exposure Metering Multi-pattern (default)--evaluates lighting conditions Evaluate light levels at specific throughout the image to give an optimum picture exposure. Center-weight--evaluates the lighting conditions of the subject centered in the viewfinder. Center-spot--similar to Center-weight, except the metering is concentrated on a smaller area of the subject centered in the viewfinder. Kodak warrants Kodak EasyShare digital cameras and accessories (excluding batteries) to be free from malfunctions and defects in both materials and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. Proof of the date of purchase will be required with any request for warranty repair.
