For safety, please follow the instructions in this manual. Type for 2522/2527/2212/2712/5622/5627/Aficio 1022/1027 Printed in Japan UE USA B027-6607 Introduction This manual contains detailed instructions on the operation and maintenance of this machine. To get maximum versatility from this machine all operators should carefully read and follow the instructions in this manual. It contains important information related to USER SAFETY and PREVENTING EQUIPMENT PROBLEMS. Notes Some illustrations may be slightly different from your machine. [. . . ] Appendix Staple The following tables show the staple positions. Note Staple outputs depend on paper size, paper type, number of pages and feed direction. Limitation Stapling can be done only with a finisher installed on the machine. Stapling cannot be done when paper is fed from the optional Bypass Tray. You cannot interrupt the current job with a job of another function for which stapling or sorting is specified. You can interrupt the current job with an ordinary copy job or facsimile reception. The output tray for the interrupting job varies depending on the finisher type and output tray specification for the interrupting job. 61 Appendix When the finisher is Finisher 500: · If the output tray specified for the interrupting job is the Finisher Tray, the interrupting job will be delivered to Internal Tray 1. · If the output tray specified for the interrupting job is not the Finisher Tray, the interrupting job will be delivered to the specified output tray. When the finisher is Finisher 1000: · If the output tray specified for the interrupting job is the Finisher Shift Tray, the interrupting job will be delivered to the Finisher Proof Tray. · If the output tray specified for the interrupting job is not the Finisher Shift Tray, the interrupting job will be delivered to the specified output tray.
