Caution! Do not connect the USB cable yet! If you connect the camera to a computer through the USB cable before installing the provided software on the computer, the software required for connection between camera and computer may not be installed correctly. You can choose from the following six ISO settings: AUTO, ISO 64, ISO 100, ISO 200, ISO 400, and ISO 800. When ISO setting is set to [AUTO], the camera automatically changes the sensitivity according to the distance, brightness, zoom, and macro settings. If you do not want to allow the camera to change the ISO sensitivity, select an ISO setting other than [AUTO]. Press the C/D button. The Shooting Setting menu is displayed. Press the " button to select [ISO SETTING] and press the $ button. If you pressed the # button in Step 5, press also the C/D button. The ISO setting is completed. The Shooting Setting menu closes and the setting appears on the screen. The setting is used for shooting until it is changed. Note At the Wide-angle zoom setting, when the ISO setting is set to [AUTO], the sensitivity is equivalent to ISO 160 with flash or ISO 100 without flash. 83 Limiting the Shutter Speed (SLOW SHUTTER LMT) The maximum shutter speed can be limited to the following: 1/8 second, 1/4 second, and 1/2 second.
