It can be used to record GPS data (longitude and latitude) and compass headings in photographs taken while it is connected to a G700SE. Tightening screws with the short shaft of the Allen key inserted in the heads could strip the receiving threads. [. . . ] Do not touch the internal components of the equipment if they become exposed as a result of being dropped or damaged. Cease use immediately and take the product to the point of purchase or to one of the RICOH service centers listed in the camera manual. Do not use the equipment near flammable gases, gasoline, benzene, thinner or similar substances to avoid the risk of explosion, fire or burns. Do not use it in a high temperature environment such as next to a fire or inside a car, or abandon it. GPS data are shown in the camera picture display and can be recorded with photographs as they are taken. Radio-frequency interference emitted by this device could cause accidents. Follow the directions of hospital staff when using this device in the vicinity of medical equipment. GPS data are not recorded with photographs taken while GPS data are being updated. Insert the connector on the GP-1 (b) into the connector on the camera with the status lamp (c) at the rear of the camera (Step 2). 3 Attach the GP-1 to the camera using the two screws (d) supplied Insert the long shaft of the Allen key into the head of the screw and rotate the short shaft by hand to tighten the two screws (Step 3).
