Introduction Thank you for purchasing a Ricoh digital camera. This manual explains the correct handling procedures and precautions for your camera. It is not possible to operate the / button or use the MENU button to display the menu screen while an image is being recorded. q Maximum number of continuous pictures The maximum number of pictures that can be taken continuously depends on the image quality mode. The available space on the SmartMedia memory card or internal memory may allow extended shooting. Motion Picture Shooting (Motion Picture Mode) This mode is for recording motion pictures. The recordable time is displayed according to the available capacity in the recording destination. Sound is incorporated in the recording. q Set the mode dial to [ ]. Still Picture/Text Shooting with Sound This mode is for recording still pictures or text with 10 seconds of sound. This function is useful when you wish to add a comment or explain a situation.
