'M' will stop flashing indicating station memory being done. Note : No matter you press Memory Button 6 or Memory Recall button 7 , if the number digit is flashing which indicates the flashing number station has been memoried. When the required station is found, press Memory Recall button 7 again, LCD M and memory digit will stop flashing. For priority stations recall, simply turn on the radio by pressing On/Off button 1 then pressing Priority station button 8 . Select the required Priority station by pressing priority station button again. If there is no memory station or priority station, while you press Memory Recall button or Priority button , LCD display will show ME (memory empty) or PE (priority station empty). [. . . ] Lock Switch To prevent accidential changing of any of the radio settings, move the Lock Switch 14 to up position, LCD display icon will appear. It is important to make sure Lock Switch is in its down position when radio is to be operated , as radio is completely inoperative until Lock Switch is released. If the radio is not to be used for any extended period of time battery power savings may be realized by setting Lock Switch to On position during storage.
