2 Installation
Removing packaging reinforcement

Turning the machine on
Youcanpreparethemachineforprogram selectionbypressingthe"On/Off"button. Whenthe"On/Off"buttonispressed, the "Ready"lightilluminatesindicatingthatthe doorisulocked. Pressthe"On/Off"button againtoshutdownthemachine.

Program selection

Thisfunctionprotectstheappliancefrom beingtamperedbychildren. Inthiscase, allof thebuttonsareinactiveexceptOn/Offbutton; byOn/Offbuttonyoucanwhetherstopor resume(whilechild-lockon)theprogramof yourmachine. Themachineisswitchedtochild-lockby pressingthe1stand2ndauxiliaryfunctions fromtheleftfor3sec. Child-prooflocklamp ontheprogramfollow-upindicatorwilllight upwhenthechild-prooflockisactivated. Todeactivatethechild-prooflock, pressthe samebuttonsfor3sec.

The"Spin"lightilluminatesifthecancellation processisactivatedinthemiddleofthe programandthemachinecaneitherdrainall thewaterorcantakeinwater3timesatmost tocooldowntheclothesandperformthe drainingprocess. Theprogramwhichisselectedfirstwillkeep ongoingevenifthepositionoftheprogram selectionbuttonischanged. Anewprogram canbeselectedorstartedafter"Programis cancelled"inordertochangethewashing program. End of program The"Ready"lampontheprogramfollow-up indicatorwilllightupwhentheprogramcomes toanend. Thedoorcanbeopenedandthe machineisreadyforasecondcyclenow. Pressthe"On/Off"buttontoshutdownthe machine.
Thereisafilterattheendofeachwaterintake valveatthebacksideofthemachineandalso attheendofeachwaterintakehosewhere theyareconnectedtothetap. Thesefilters preventtheforeignsubstancesanddirtinthe watertoenterintothemachine. Filtersshould becleanedastheygetdirty. · Closethetaps.

6 Solution suggestions for problems
Cause Machinemayhave Programcannot switchedtoself protectionmodedueto bestartedor aninfrastructureproblem selected. Problem Explanation / Suggestion Resetyourmachinebypressing"Start/Pause/ Cancel"buttonfor3seconds. (see, Canceling aProgram) Besurethesealsofthewaterinlethosesare securelyfitted. Itwillresumeoperatingwhenthevoltageis backtothenormallevel.
