Select the option Inputs / PIP, then Main input settings and then Delete. The table opposite appears. : Delete current programme [MENU] : Stop deleting : Select delete range start point Current = 1 - ARD : Select delete range end point Current = 1 - ARD : Confirm delete from start point to end point 2. You can now delete TV channels using the coloured buttons on the remote control. Changing a channel name Programme: TV Standard: Type: Channel Entry: Frequency: Name: Auto Option: Decoder: ¥ Auto Search Manual search Sort Delete ¥ If the TV set can detect the channel name from the TV signal, the detected name is stored under the set channel number. Select the option Inputs / PIP, then Main input settings, then Manual Search and finally Name. Using the buttons you can scroll through the characters set until you find the character you want. Auto Search Manual Search Sort Delete ¥ TV Standard: PAL BG Search Form: All Programmes Start Search: Programme Start Point: 01 Country: United Kingdom ¥ Display the main menu by pressing the MENU button. Select the option Inputs / PIP, then Main input settings and then Auto Search. The corresponding menu appears. Select under TV Standard the valid standard for your country. You have the following standards to choose from: SECAM L or SECAM L' for France, SECAM L for Luxembourg, PAL DK or SECAM DK for Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Asia, PAL I for the UK and Ireland, PAL BG for Western Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Note: Select the Auto setting to start the automatic channel search based on all the TV standards. 2. EN 3. 7. Under Search Form select All Programmes to re-install all the channels or New Programmes to search for channels not yet installed. Under Programme Start Point, specify the channel number from which you want the numbering of the channels found to start. Select Start Search and press the button. The automatic channel search starts. You can cancel the search by pressing the EXIT button. Manual channel set-up Auto Search Manual search Sort Delete ¥ Programme: TV Standard: Type: Channel Entry: Frequency: Name: Auto Option: Decoder: ¥ 01 PAL BG Channel 12 062. 25 MHz BBC1 Normal SCART2 Follow the procedure given on this page if you find that some channels have not been stored during the initial set-up. This can happen if you are setting up cable network channels. Setting up channels manually requires every setting for a particular channel to be entered, one at a time. 1. Select the option Inputs / PIP, then Main input settings and then Manual Search. Under the option Programme enter a channel number that is not yet being used. Select under TV Standard the valid standard for your country. You have the following standards to choose from: SECAM L or SECAM L' for France, SECAM L for Luxembourg, PAL DK or SECAM DK for Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Asia, PAL I for the UK and Ireland, PAL BG for Western Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Select Channel Entry and enter the number of the reception channel of the channel you are searching for using the numeric buttons on the remote control, or b. Select Frequency and enter directly the frequency of the TV channel you are searching for using the numeric buttons on the remote control. If the picture quality is not ideal, increase or reduce the frequency entered in small increments. You do this by pressing the button. The first number starts flashing. [. . . ] 2. Display the main menu by pressing the MENU button, select Inputs / PIP, Main input settings, then User timings. You can then, for instance, save the format currently being used in position 1 (8 positions are possible) by selecting Save. The SCART 1 socket can also be used for connecting an appliance supplying an RGB signal (DVD player, video recorder, etc. ).
