Selecting stereo permits simultaneous recording of both languages of a bilingual programme on a stereo video recorder : Sound 1 on the left track and Sound 2 on the right track. SWITCHING ON / SELECTING PROGRAMMES Switch on the television set with the mains switch if the standby light is off. If the standby light is on, select the programme required by the remote control or the PR-/+ buttons on the front of the set. BROWSE This comprises 10 pages of 10 programmes each, giving for each programme number : the station name (if it has been programmed).
