Refit the filter and screw the hose at the rear of the appliance. P0090 P0021 13 ENGLISH 4. Drain filter The drain filter collects threads and small objects inadvertently left in the laundry. Place a container under the filter and unscrew it. AL012 AL015 Pull out the filter. Clean the filter under a running tap, then refit it, screwing it fully in. AL017 P0040 5. Emergency emptying out If the water is not discharged (drain pump is blocked, filter or drain hose are clogged), proceed as follows to empty out the machine: s pull out the plug from the power socket; s close the water tap; s if necessary, wait until the water has cooled down; s place a bowl on the floor; s put the drain hose end into the bowl and let the water come out. Should it not be possible to have access to the drain hose because, for example, the appliance is built in the kitchen furniture, slightly loosen the drain filter after placing a bowl on the floor, to let the water come out slowly. The dangers of freezing If the machine is exposed to temperatures below 0°C, certain precautions should be taken. s Unhook the drain hose from the rear support and position the end of this hose and that of the inlet hose in a bowl. Run the draining programme until the selector dial is in the "Stop" position. s When you intend to start the machine up again, make sure that the room temperature is above 0°C. [. . . ] Directives: - 73/23 EEC of 19. 2. 73 (Low Voltage Directive) and subsequent modifications; - 89/336 EEC of 3. 5. 89 (Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive) and subsequent modifications. 16 Installation You are advised to keep all the packaging for re-use in case the appliance has to be transported again. Before starting the machine up, the transport security bolts must be removed as follows. s Unscrew and remove the three rear transit bolts (using a spanner). P0287 s Lay the machine gently on its back, making sure that the hoses are not squashed. We suggest a polystyrene angle bracket from the packing is placed on the floor before tilting it back to avoid the hoses being squashed. P0018 s Carefully remove the polyethylene bags located at the base of the machine by pulling them toward the centre of the machine. 1 2 AL009 s Place the machine in an upright position and remove the three plastic bolts. P0001 s Plug the 3 holes with the plastic plugs which you can find in the envelope containing the instruction booklet.
