Important: if the supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cable available from your local Service Force Centre. Any electrical work required to install this appliance should be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person. The back of the appliance should be close to a solid wall but leaving the required distance for ventilation as stated in the installation instructions. [. . . ] The temperature of this compartment may be regulated by rotating the knob (B), and may vary between more or less -15°C and -24°C. When the knob is rotated, the display flashes and indicates the set temperature. After having set the desired temperature, if the knob is not rotated within 5 seconds, the temperature of the freezer compartment will be indicated. To operate the freezer proceed as follows: Turn the thermostat control beyond the «G» position. When you first start the freezer, we suggest that you turn the thermostat control to a medium setting. However, if the appliance is working in unfavourable room conditions such as poor ventilation, high temperature, frequent door openings, Freezing fresh food The freezer compartment is suitable for long term storage of commercially frozen food, and for freezing fresh food. Changing the light bulb Should the interior light fail to work, first switch off the appliance and disconnect from the electricity supply, then replace the bulb as follows; Internal cleaning Clean the inside and accessories with warm water and bicarbonate of soda (5ml to 0. 5 litre of water). When the appliance is not in use When the appliance is not in use for long periods, disconnect from the electricity supply, empty all foods and clean the appliance, leaving the doors ajar to prevent unpleasant smells. External cleaning Many proprietary kitchen surface cleaners contain chemicals that can attack/damage the plastics used in this appliance. For this reason it is recommended that the outer casing of this appliance is only cleaned with warm water with a little washing-up liquid added. Shelf holders Your appliance is equipped with shelf retainers that make it possible to secure the shelves during transportation. To remove them proceed as follows: Raise the shelf from the back, push it in the direction of the arrow until it is freed and remove the retainers.
