To avoid unnecessary mistakes and accidents, it is important to ensure that all people using the appliance are thoroughly familiar with its operation and safety features. "3 in 1 function" This appliance is equipped with the "3 in 1 function", that allows the use of the "3 in 1" combi detergent tablets. These products are detergents with a combined cleaning, rinsing and salt functions. They can also contain other different agents depending on which kind of tablets you choose ("3 in 1", "4 in 1", "5 in 1" etc. . . ) Check whether these detergents are suitable for your water hardness. Once this function is selected it will remain active also for the following washing programmes. With the selection of this function the inflow of rinse aid and salt from each respective supply container is automatically deactivated and also 18 the indicator lights for salt and rinse aid are deactivated. Select the "3 in 1 function" before the start of a washing programme. With the use of the "3 in 1 function", the cycle durations may change. Once the programme is running, the "3 in 1 function" can NO longer be changed. If you want to exclude the "3 in 1 function" you have to cancel the programme setting and then deactivate the "3 in 1 function". In this case you have to set a washing programme (and desired options) again. Activation/deactivation of the 3 in 1 function Press simultaneously the two buttons positioned over the writing 3 in 1, until the "3 in 1 function "indicator light illuminates. To deactivate the function press the same buttons again until the indicator light corresponding to the "3 in 1" symbol turns off. · The activation/deactivation of the rinse aid dispenser can only be possible with the "3 in 1" function active. Press simultaneously buttons B and C, until the lights of buttons A , B, and C start flashing. Press button B, the lights of buttons A and C turn off while the light of button B goes on flashing. The digital display indicates the current setting: = Rinse aid dispenser deactivated. To change the setting, press button B again, the digital display indicates the new setting: = Rinse aid dispenser activated. To memorise the operation, switch off the dishwasher by pressing the On/Off button. If you decide to turn back to the use of standard detergent system we advise that you: 1. Adjust the water hardness setting to the highest setting and perform 1 normal washing programme without loading any dishes. Adjust the water hardness setting according to the hardness of the water in your area. [. . . ] Be sure that once the appliance has been installed, it is easily accessible for the service engineer in the event that a repair is required. Levelling Good levelling is essential for correct closure and sealing of the door. When the appliance is correctly levelled, the door will not catch on either side of the cabinet. 28 Guarantee conditions Guarantee/Customer Service Standard guarantee conditions We, Zanussi-Electrolux , undertake that if within 12 months of the date of the purchase this Zanussi-Electrolux appliance or any part thereof is proved to be defective by reason only of faulty workmanship or materials, we will, at our option repair or replace the same FREE OF CHARGE for labour, materials or carriage on condition that: · The appliance has been correctly installed and used only on the electricity supply stated on the rating plate. · The appliance has been used for normal domestic purposes only, and in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. · The appliance has not been serviced, maintained, repaired, taken apart or tampered with by any person not authorised by us.
